Olive oil

Our passion for finding the best ingredients led us to olive-growing brothers Luca and Giuseppe Esposito, from Puglia in southern Italy. They insist on picking and pressing their olives within twenty-four hours of harvest. Our new season 100% Italian extra virgin Olive oil has now arrived in all of our restaurants! You can buy a bottle from any of our restaurants for £8.00.

Passata di Pomodoro

Some say you can judge the quality of a restaurant from its tomato sauce.  Well whether you believe that or not, we’re pretty proud of ours.  It’s made by brothers Giorgio and Gilberto Greci just outside of Parma in Emilia Romagna whose family has been canning tomatoes since the beginning of the 1900’s.  At the end of August we went out to celebrate harvest time and to see how only the ripest, reddest tomatoes are picked, peeled, chopped and canned into a can of our passata di pomodoro.  Check out the video to see how it happens…

GREAT ITALIAN FOOD & WINE

What we cook, and how we cook it is completely changing. We are on a journey to transform our menu, step by step; with the inspired help of Theo Randall - one of the country's most celebrated chefs and one of our expert friends. Classic new dishes, fresh authentic Italian tastes. We've also worked with not one but two Masters of Wine who have helped us develop a new 100% Italian wine list that perfectly complements our food.

'I'm proud to be helping the team at ASK Italian to develop an Italian inspired menu'

My favourite Prima is the Caprina – the combination of the creamy goats cheese, black olive tapenade and San Marzano tomatoes on the crisp semolina base, is unbeatable

I’m thrilled to have helped create this 100% Italian wine list with ASK Italian which showcases great wines from across Italy.

WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT ITALY

We want to share our passion. So with the help from our renowned friends like Carla Capalbo we've started something for all our teams. We're calling it an 'Italian Education'. It's all sorts of things... Master classes. Wine tasting. Trips to Italy. Even plans for our own Chef's Academy. But then not everyone on the team is Italian. Just warm, natural, real. And totally passionate about making your ASK Italian great. Every time.
