Italian Cheese Fondue Recipe


Easy Festive Hosting

It wouldn't be Christmas without cheese right? And this Festive season we're dreaming of the Italian alps with our special Festive Cheese Fondue. 

And if you're hosting friends and family this season, we've got this simple recipe so you can recreate the classic alpine dish at home to impress them, and take the hassle out of hosting... WIN

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups milk
8 ounces mozzarella cheese (grated)
8 ounces fontina cheese (grated)
2 ounces Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons white wine (dry)
Optional: salami cubes (or breadsticks, crusty Italian bread cubes, veggies, etc.)

How to
1) Pour milk into a saucepan and simmer. Stir in all the cheese until melted and smooth.
2) In a bowl on the side, whisk together cornstarch and white wine until smooth. Pour a glass of wine for you!
3) Then, whilst stirring, slowly pour wine mixture into cheese mixture and continue to cook until thickened. Pop on a fondue pot to keep warm.
4) Enjoy! It goes perfectly with crusty ciabatta, salami, veggies and whatever other dippers you fancy.
