We’ve all heard it during exam season “they were tougher back in my day”. Well, we’re going to settle the age-old debate and put the parents to the test.
This Results Day, bring your official exam results slip into ASK Italian and we'll put Mum, Dad (or your favourite parental figure) on the spot with one GCSE-style question.
If they get it right? Your main meal is on us.
If they get it wrong? They can still celebrate with a complimentary glass of fizz (or a non-alcoholic alternative) while they pick up the bill.
Either way, everyone's a winner. Because after all, exam season is a team effort and everyone deserves to celebrate.
HOW IT WORKS
📄 Bring your official results slip from your Scottish Highers, GSCEs or A Levels
🍝 Visit any ASK Italian in Scotland on 4 or 5 August. Or on 13th and 20th for GSCE and A Level results in England and Wales.
🧠 Choose your challenge. Your parent will answer one GCSE-style question in either Maths, English or Science.
🏆 Correct answer? Your main meal is completely free.
🥂 Wrong answer? Your parent still gets a complimentary glass of fizz (or alcohol-free alternative) for surviving exam season, too. They’ve just got to foot the whole bill!
All restaurants in Scotland on Tuesday 4th August and Wednesday 5th August.
All restaurants in England and Wales on 13th August and 20th August.
All students with exam results (and exam slips!) will get a free main meal.
They'll pay for the meal, but they'll receive a complimentary glass of prosecco or for a non-alcoholic alternative a Crodino Spritz.
We always recommend booking ahead to avoid any disappointment. Pop in the booking request ‘results day’.
- This offer entitles students to one free main meal when dining with a parent or guardian who successfully answers one GCSE-style question set by ASK Italian. The student must present an official exam results slip to qualify (Scottish Highers, GSCEs or A Level).
- Valid at participating ASK Italian restaurants in Scotland only on 4th - 5th August 2026. And in England and Wales on 13th - 14th August and 20th - 21st August.
- Parents or guardians may choose one GCSE-style question from Maths, English or Science.
- If the parent or guardian answers the question correctly, the student's main meal will be complimentary.
- If the parent or guardian answers incorrectly, the free main meal offer will not apply. Instead, the participating parent or guardian will receive one complimentary glass of fizz or a non-alcoholic alternative.
- One free main meal may be redeemed per eligible student presenting a valid official exam results slip.
- This offer is valid for dine-in only and cannot be redeemed against takeaway or Click & Collect orders.
