Bell Court is in the heart of the town, close to the many tourist attractions and local shops, and just a short stroll from the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. Enjoy a little escapism over lunch, dinner or any occasion in between. After a busy day out exploring the town, or before an evening play at the Royal Shakespeare Company, what better way to unwind and relax than with some hearty Italian cuisine? Whilst you’re with us, you can find a beautiful indoor courtyard, a hand-painted mural and even a disco ball. Dine alfresco on our terrace, where tables come complete with cosy blankets. We’ve got parties and group bookings covered too, with space for up to 32 people in comfy booths upstairs. Our quintessentially Italian menu will tempt you with classic dishes alongside contemporary signatures, from fresh pasta to stone-baked pizzas, salads, meat and fish to show-stopping deserts. If you just need a quick break, we’re also open for coffee and cake, light bites, or a well-deserved after-work catch-up over a couple of drinks from our cocktail menu or Italian wine list.

At Shakespeare Distillery, they aim to recapture this period of innovation by fusing traditional and, in some cases, forgotten ingredients with modern, sustainable techniques to create exciting new carbon neutral spirits. They now produce a range of premium, handcrafted gins including the award-winning Stratford Dry Gin.

Our Italian menu is inspired by trips to Italy and created in collaboration with expert friend, Theo Randall. You’ll find lots of choice including our antipasto sharing boards, long pizzas, fresh pasta and desserts, as well as a fun and tasty kids menu. We’ve got vegetarian, vegan and non-gluten options and plenty to toast the mealtime with cocktails, beer or a bottle of wine.
